150 Years Malaysia Telugu Heritage Stamp

Another history was created by the Telugu Association of Malaysia on the 26th August 2010. This time its not about meeting the prime minister or being granted hundreds of thousands of ringgits. Its all about launching a stamp. Yes, a stamp bearing the image of 150 Years Malaysian Telugu Heritage with the word "తెలుగు ధనం" embeeded on top of it. "తెలుగు ధనం" which means "Wealth of Malaysian Telugus" in the sense of language, culture and tradition is the theme for the "150 Years Malaysian Telugu Heritage Celebration" or better known as "An Evening with Prime Minister" which is going to be held on 8th October 2010 from 11am-11pm at PICC, Putrajaya. The stamp was launched by Y.B. Dato' Joseph Salang Anak Gandum, Deputy Minister of Information, Communication and Culture of Malaysia.
